The White Rhinoceros - much more sociable than the Black Rhinoceros. Their names have nothing to do with their colour. The most obvious differences (apart from temperament) are; the White version is approximately 50% larger, with a much larger head and an extremeley wide mouth. The White Rhinoceros is a grazer, with the wide mouth enabling the animal to achieve an adequate intake. The Black Rhino is a browser, with a prehensile upper lip, more rounded ears and a more pronounced saddle on the back, compared to the White's fin-like bump two-thirds of the way along its back.
